The first NDC submissions of Low Income countries contribute the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (20%) and SDG 15 'Life on Land' (14%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (57%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (19%) and 'Clean and renewable energy' (12%). For SDG 15 the highest contributions relate to Target '15.2 Promote sustainable forest management and expansion and halt deforestation' (52%) and Target '15.3 Restore degraded land and combat desertification' (20%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Afforestation' (17%) and 'Deforestation prevention' (13%).

The updated NDC submissions of Low Income countries contribute the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (19%) and SDG 2 'No Hunger' (15%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (54%) and Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (37%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Clean and renewable energy' (23%) and 'Energy efficiency' (18%). For SDG 2 the highest contributions relate to Target '2.4 Ensure sustainable agricultural practices for reselience and resource protection' (66%) and Target '2.3 Increase agricultural productivity for small-scale producers' (25%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Increased agriculture productivity' (17%) and 'Climate-smart and sustainable agriculture' (16%).
