The first NDC submission of Azerbaijan contributes the most to SDG 7 'Affordable and Clean Energy' (42%) and SDG 11 'Sustainable Cities and Communities' (29%). For SDG 7 the highest contributions relate to Target '7.3 Double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency' (60%) and Target '7.2 Increase share of renewable energy' (30%). Here, the main climate actions are related to 'Energy efficiency' (25%) and 'Codes, labelling and standards establishement' (13%). For SDG 11 some of the highest contributions relate to Target '11.2 Accessible and sustainable transport systems' (75%) and Target '11.3 Inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participatory planning' (13%). Here, some of the main climate actions are related to 'Public transport access' (33%) and 'Use of electric vehicles' (17%).
